My wife and I bought bought two pedestals for our new washer and new dryer. They are the perfect height for us and a extremely stable with the appliances mounted on top of them. They also make great storage units for extra cleaning products. They make loading and unloading the appliances very easy.

Had a set of LG without pedestals and bought a new set recently and we decided to get the pedestals. What a great choice. The machines are elevated nicely so no more bending way over and reaching in Also they have a nice amount of storage

You cant stand up a soap bleach or softener container in this drawer
I guess its meant to hold only a box of dryer sheets or a bleach stick
Too bad
Now I have to install a shelf to hold these important laundry items
I would recommend this pedestal ONLY to raise the machines up to a workable height but NOT to keep supplies in it
Yes I bought TWO of them one for the washer and one for the dryer.
Yes the price is now lower at the LG website than what I paid for them at Lowes back in January darn it

I ordered the pedestal to raise and provide additional storage under our LG dryer. Thanks to reviews I was able to plan my laundry room storage in advance. I did read a few reviews where some buyers are complaining that the drawer is not able to hold a standard size bottle of detergent. I guess standard size is relative. After our install I discovered that a standard sized detergent 40 oz does indeed fit standing yay On one side of the drawer its divided I store a bottle of fabric softener 32oz 2 containers of Oxi Clean small bleach various types of laundry stain removers and 2-3 sizing/starch on the left side. On the right size I store bags rags and Swifter stacked 2x2 . The cabinet is well made. It feels durable slides easy and has a sleek exterior design. I have only owned the pedestal for a couple months. Thus far I am satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this product

I like the fact that the storage drawer raises the washer and dryer up to a comfortable level for loading/unloading BUT the really disappointing part is that the drawer isnt deep enough to hold a standard bottle of laundry detergent without putting it on its side so I have a storage drawer and have my detergent sitting on the floor next to the storage drawer not good Major design flaw as the drawer just needs to be a little deeper to accommodate this.

What normally goes into a laundry storage drawer? Regular sized laundry detergent. Not in this one...only small sized detergent unless you want to lay them flat and risk a spill that you cannot clean up because the drawer does not fully release. Little more work LG little more work.
