What an upgrade!! I love this washer. It does an excellent job and it does it efficiently. The only thing it doesn't have is the "fill and forget" laundry soap dispenser, but no big deal. I love the variety of cycles and especially like the large capacity for bedding.

This has turned out to be a nice replacement washing machine. I have had it now for a little over a month with no complaints. I have seen some reviews that have not been good but for me I have no complaints to date - it helps to read the directions. I would definitely recommend purchasing this washer.

I have had this machine for about 6 months now and I wish I could have tried before using. After three washes the mother board went out. While it was repaired under warranty I was without a washer for about two weeks. Once repaired my issue is with streaks of soap or lint on clothes after washing. I always use the extra rinse and still have to run a complete wash cycle to get rid of streaks. In my estimation it does not use enough water and I think I would rather have an agitator.

This washer is perfect for a big family! I can do twice the washing at once!!! I've had our washer almost a year now the features like the sanitize cycle are amazing for the kids stuff and my husbands work clothes to our dogs bedding and the washer is also delicate enough to do the lacy things like curtains :) without tearing and ruining them! This is definitely a great purchase for a family home!

Purchased less than 2 years ago, and it's already stopped working. Called Maytag repair, and estimate to fix was $800+! Purchased a replacement control panel in hopes that was the issue ($250), but that didn't fix it. Will never touch another Maytag appliance again.

I have had this washer for 3 months and I thought my biggest complaint was that it doesn't clean my clothes well. Now it doesn't work at all. Had to wait over 2 weeks for a new control board and when it was finally installed, it worked for 2 loads and stopped working in the middle of the 3rd cycle. Great. Now I have sopping wet clothes to deal with.

We bought this 3 months ago. The dial to change the different wash settings occasionally freezes up and won't let me change the setting of the wash. The same occurs when trying to change the temperature of the water or how heavy of a clean I need. I never fill the washer to capacity and yet I have had several loads of laundry come out unclean.

I've had this for 2wks. So far I love the xl capacity. I can wash jeans and my king size comforters with no problem.

Bought this model 11/2017. the 1st year I had it they had to come out because something went out and it wouldn't drain. Last week the computer went out and it wont start. I got a tech out and its needs a new main control boast its over $300 plus labor. I bought Maytag because I thought they would last. What a mistake. I should have bought the cheap knob ones.

Bought the set in grey about a couple of weeks ago. Will be switching the electric dryer for a gas. (Felt like it left my clothes damp and didn't realize I also have gas hook ups) other than that, extremely happy with the washer! I am now able to wash my big comforters!

Deep water wash cycle does not add any extra water for larger items. A king size comforter I washed 3 times and when I pull it out of the washer, the comforter is not even wet in several places. I phoned Maytag, and they told me it does not add any extra water. I like the old model top loaders where you could simply adjust he water level. What a waste of $$. The older Maytag's you could adjust the water level.

My daughter bought the same set in the Slate. I loved them so much when I was visiting her that I convinced my husband to buy a set for me too! We did need to replace what we had, but it was a battle on the color....I WON! I got the Slate too! I love doing laundry in these, so many settings, so efficient and QUIET! One downside is the depth of the drum, I'm on the short side, but I just use a new pair of grilling tongs to pull out those nasty hard to reach little socks! Life is good!!

I just replaced my 30 year old wash machine with this and am so thrilled! It's actually fun to do laundry! It works great - makes some unusual noises but I hear that's normal. So deep I have to stand on my tip-toes to get the last of the laundry out.

Was so excited to buy this set about a year ago but then after a few months i have already had to replace the washer once. The second one is in the shop now for the digital panel board going out. It looks great, modern and I love the capacity, no going to the laundry mat with comforters. If it just worked i would give it the
perfect rating but I gave it 3 stars for effort. GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY

We had an old Maytag a loved it, so we bought a new Washer/Dryer for our new home. We are pleased with the performance, but we have had two significant repairs in less than three months of use. This is disappointing. In fairness, we called Maytag and they got a repair person out in about 3 days after calling, but I did not expect to have repairs on a new washer. I expect better quality from Maytag.I hope this is the last one, but I am concerned. The track record is not good....

I bought a similar 4.2 cu.ft. model a few weeks ago and find that my clothes, towels sheets, whatever, come out twisted up with other item in the basket! This frustrates me, as I didnt get that much with the traditional washer. It takes to long as well. Items dont smell fresh like my old agitator machine left them either.

Bought my washer and was so proud until it gave me a flashing code and did not turn on again after 7 months. Maytag has done a great job at sending out a new part since it was covered under warranty. Still waiting for the part and the results. Customer service has been great.

I bought this washer with the matching dryer and I LOVE them both. I love the space you get inside of the washer, I can put my queen size comforter in there along with the bedding and it all fits. I love the different washing options you get with it and I love the sound levels. I am impressed with both units and I am so glad I chose them both.
